Dashboards
A product can hold as many dashboards as you want — each a free-form board of panels you arrange yourself. Your product data (costs, tiers, mix) is shared across every dashboard; a dashboard only remembers its own layout and which panels it shows. Create, rename, reorder, and duplicate dashboards from the dashboard bar, so you can keep, say, a "pricing" board and a "growth" board side by side.
Templates
A template is a ready-made starting layout. Apply one to lay out a dashboard instantly — Overview shows everything in a clean 3-column grid, Detailed packs the panels into a denser view. Templates set the arrangement; your numbers stay exactly as they were.
Live recalculation
Change anything — a cost, a tier price, the user mix — and every affected panel recomputes and re-renders immediately. There's no "run" button; the numbers are always current. When you connect an AI assistant through the Desktop bridge, changes it makes show up on your panels live too.
Light & dark, keyboard
CostPad ships light and dark themes, and the whole app follows your choice. Keyboard shortcuts speed up the things you do most — adding a panel and switching dashboards.
